Charles J. Shanley

Charles J. Shanley is the founder and chairman of Seraph Biosciences. Charles has also previously served as division chief of vascular surgery, program director of vascular surgery fellowship, and medical director of noninvasive vascular laboratory at Detroit Medical Center; as well as senior vice president of professional services and associate chief medical officer of health system at Beaumont Health. Shanley is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Charles J. Shanley received their Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Wayne State University. Charles then attended Michigan State University for an unknown amount of time. After that, they attended Wayne State University School of Medicine, where they received their Doctor of Medicine (MD). Afterwards, they completed their residency at the University of Michigan in General Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Vascular Surgery. Charles is certified by the American Board of Surgery in Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Vascular Surgery.
