Joao Antonio Rodrigues da Cunha

Joao Antonio Rodrigues da Cunha is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Finance Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Omega Energia since April 2019. Previously, Joao held the position of Head of Business and Corporate Development at BRF Asia from July 2016 to July 2018, where responsibilities included leading M&A and joint venture expansion efforts for one of the largest food companies globally. Prior experiences include a role as a Summer Associate at BRF, focusing on the development of a global footprint strategy, and as a Public Equities Associate during an MBA externship at Tarpon Investimentos, where due diligence and investment case construction were key tasks. Earlier, Joao was Head of M&A and Strategy at Omega Energia Renovável SA from 2008 to 2014, executing various M&A projects and fundraising initiatives. Joao holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a degree from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
