Gwo-Jeng (Michael) Lo is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in mechanical engineering, specializing in power electronics and reliability analysis. Currently serving as a Senior CAE Engineer and Senior Mechanical Engineer at SERES EV since September 2018, Gwo-Jeng focuses on fatigue life analysis, vibration testing, fluid dynamics, and shock analysis. Previously, Gwo-Jeng held roles at Finisar Corporation as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, conducting thermal cycle reliability simulations and analyzing thermal-interface materials. Additional experience includes a Principal FEA Engineer position at Western Digital, focusing on drop simulations and material analysis, and a Principal Research Engineer role at Hitachi GST, emphasizing technology innovation for data storage hardware. Gwo-Jeng's career also includes significant contributions at Samsung Electronics in electromechanical design and Western Digital Corp. Gwo-Jeng earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University.
