Ian Thomson

Ian Thomson has over 28 years of experience in asset accounting within the energy sector. Currently, Ian serves as a Senior Asset Accountant at Serica Energy plc since March 2020, and previously held the position of UK Asset Accounting Lead at Dana Petroleum Limited from April 2018 to February 2020. Ian's career includes significant roles at EnQuest, BG Group, and Kerr-McGee North Sea, encompassing various accounting positions such as Lead Asset Accountant and Operations Accounting Team Lead. Ian's early career also included positions at Chevron and Andersen Consulting. Ian holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Robert Gordon University and is a member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
