Mike Webb

Mike Webb is an experienced oil and gas professional currently serving as an Oil & Gas Offshore Operations Technician and OPITO Competency Assessor at Serica Energy plc since November 2018. Previously, Mike founded Performance Meals, successfully generating over 1,000,000 high protein diet meals for sports and fitness across the UK, Europe, and internationally from May 2012 to December 2022. Prior to this entrepreneurial venture, Mike held various technical roles at bp and Petrofac, including Offshore Production Technician and Offshore Control Room Operator, where significant responsibilities included plant monitoring, hydrocarbon export management, and training new personnel in a high-stakes environment. Mike’s educational background includes a City & Guilds Level 3 in Petroleum Processing Technology, a NEBOSH Certificate, and an NVQ Level 2 in Hydrocarbons.
