Jean-Sebastien Thin

Jean-Sebastien Thin has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Jean-Sebastien started their career as a Cost Engineer at SERIMAX in September 2005 and worked until December 2007. Jean-Sebastien then joined Institut de Soudure Industrie in May 2000 as a Construction & Welding Engineering professional and worked until August 2005. Jean-Sebastien returned to SERIMAX as an EMEA/CIS Tender Manager in January 2008 and held various roles including EMEA/CIS Technical Sales Manager and EMEA/CIS Landline Project Manager. Their most recent position at SERIMAX is the EMEA-CIS Commercial & Tendering Director, which they have been serving since November 2019. Throughout their career, Jean-Sebastien has worked on various projects and has expertise in project management, contract management, technical sales, and tendering.

Jean-Sebastien Thin has a comprehensive education history. In 1998-1999, they attended ESSA EAPS Écoles supérieures en soudage, where they earned a degree in BE, Metallurgical & Welding Engineering. From 1999-2000, they attended Ecole Officier de Réserve Armée de l'Air (EORAA - BA105/107) for their military service officer training. In 2017, they studied at IFP School, focusing on Exploration, traitement & distribution (Oil & Gas) for a MOOC Oil & Gas degree. In terms of professional development, Jean-Sebastien Thin has completed various other courses, including MOP - Managing Other People from Krauthammer in 2014, Sale Guiding Program from Vallourec University in 2011, and Formation Management Level 1 from Krauthammer in 2009. Additionally, they obtained a BTS ATI degree in Ingénierie / gestion industrielle from Paris XIX in 1996-1998 and a Bac STI F3 degree in Ingénierie électrique et électronique from Lycée de la Tourelle in 1995-1996.
