Phillip Mulder

Phillip Mulder possesses extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as Chairperson of the Board for The Coaltech Research Association NPC since September 2023 and as Chief Technical Officer at Seriti Resources since June 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing the Group's Geology, Mine Planning, Metallurgy, and Closed Collieries functions. Previously, Phillip held leadership roles at South32, focusing on mine planning projects, and contributed as a Principal Mining Engineer in Africa. Earlier career experiences include positions at BHP Billiton, A & B Global Mining, Africon, and Sasol. Academically, Phillip holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Stellenbosch University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining from the University of Pretoria, along with a Mine Managers Certificate of Competency from the Department of Mineral Resources.
