James McArdell has a diverse work experience in project management and quantity surveying. James started their career as a Client/Project Manager at Rymill Property Developments in 2010, where they were responsible for managing projects. James then worked at Rymill Property Developments as an Assistant QS from August 2010 to July 2011.
From 2011 to 2012, James worked as an Assistant QS at TC Consult, where they gained valuable experience in cost planning, budget estimates, and tender document preparation. James also coordinated projects and liaised with service and utility providers.
In 2012, James joined Curtis Surveyors Ltd as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a short period. James then worked at Faithful+Gould as a Graduate Surveyor from April 2012 to April 2013.
James joined Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water in 2013 as a Quantity Surveyor and later became a Project Manager from February 2016 to August 2018. At Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water, they were involved in managing projects and quantity surveying tasks.
In 2018, James joined Sero Homes as a Development Manager and Senior Project Manager from July 2018 to June 2019 and from August 2018 to October 2019, respectively. James is currently working at Sero as the Head of Projects since July 2019.

James McArdell attended Peter Symonds College in Winchester from 2002 to 2004. During their time there, they studied Maths, Economics, Biology, and Chemistry. After completing their studies at Peter Symonds College, McArdell went on to attend the College of Estate Management in Reading from 2006 to 2011. James earned a BSc in Quantity Surveying and graduated with a 2:2 degree.
