Leveraging over 25 years of experience in leadership positions at the intersection of science, agriculture, engineering, and business, Chris leads Indigo’s efforts to develop a trusted and scientifically rigorous carbon credit program for farmers. Chris first joined Indigo in 2019 as Vice President, where he was responsible for guiding Indigo’s Product and Engineering teams in the development of digital agronomic tools to support row crop growers in adopting more beneficial growing practices proven to reduce on-farm emissions and sequester carbon dioxide in soils. Today, as Global Head of Carbon, Chris oversees all aspects of the Indigo Carbon program -- from scientific collaborations to corporate buyer partnerships, grower resources to business strategy -- with the aim of establishing agricultural carbon credits as an indispensable resource for increasing grower profitability and environmental sustainability. An accomplished scientist and business strategist, Chris has experience founding, leading, and growing agtech companies dedicated to helping the world’s farmers grow more abundant and sustainable crops.
