Evan Gibson

Evan Gibson, PE has over 15 years of experience in various leadership roles within the manufacturing industry. Evan most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Central Operations at Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC, where they oversaw the company's manufacturing sites and played a key role in the company's operations. Prior to that, Evan held positions such as Vice President, Engineering & Facilities, Senior Director, Engineering & Facilities, and Director of Engineering at Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC. Before joining Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC, they worked as the Plant Services Manager at Houghton International, where they managed maintenance activities and in-house design and engineering for a chemical manufacturing facility. Evan also served as the Chief Operating Officer and Shareholder at John L. Underwood Company, where they managed and directed internal operations for four subsidiaries. Earlier in their career, they worked at GE Energy as a Quality Manager and Six Sigma Champion/Operations Leader, where they managed quality processes and mentored employees in completing Six Sigma projects.

Evan Gibson, PE holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Operations Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Evan has also obtained several certifications including Eagle Scout / Brotherhood Member of the Order of the Arrow from the Boy Scouts of America, Professional Engineer (PE) from the Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, and Six Sigma Green Belt from both the Georgia Institute of Technology and GE.
