Avinash Ballal

Avinash Ballal is a seasoned professional in packaging development with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Packaging Development at Serum Institute of India Limited since April 2015, Avinash leads initiatives in packaging and vendor development for cold-chain products and drug delivery devices. Prior to this role, Avinash held significant positions at Biostadt India Limited, Sandoz Pvt. Ltd., and Wockhardt Limited, where responsibilities included managing packaging for biotech products, pharmaceutical packaging activities for regulated markets, and developing packaging for a range of pharmaceutical forms. Avinash began the career in quality control at Wockhardt Limited and holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from Doctor Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and qualifications as a Packaging Technologist from the Indian Institute of Packaging in Mumbai.
