Kedar Sakhare

Kedar Sakhare is an R&D Officer at Serum Institute of India Pvt. Ltd. since September 2023, focusing on the research and development of the manufacturing process for a 10-valent Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Conjugate Vaccine at the new PPCV - DS facility. Responsibilities include handling ultra-filtration dual systems, high-pressure homogenizers, and buffer preparation vessels. Previously, Kedar served as a Trainee R&D Officer, contributing to similar projects and quality management system elements. A dissertation project intern at CSIR−Central Food Technological Research Institute involved research on microalgae, where Kedar gained experience in media preparation, harvesting techniques, and the extraction and estimation of various bioactive compounds, utilizing advanced laboratory equipment. Kedar holds a Master of Science degree in Bioinformatics and Biotechnology from Savitribai Phule Pune University, completed in June 2023.
