Anand Gopalan

Anand Gopalan is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in robotics, sensing technologies, and mixed-signal design. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Robotic Products at Serve Robotics, Anand leads the integration of AI and perception technologies into a commercial robotics fleet. Anand was previously the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Vayu Robotics, focusing on autonomous mobility solutions. As CEO/CTO of Velodyne Lidar, Anand facilitated the company's transition to a publicly traded leader in sensing technology. Anand's robust background includes leadership roles in engineering and R&D at various companies, developing high-performance mixed-signal technologies and optical transceivers. Anand holds a PhD in Microsystems and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, along with a BE in Electronics from the University of Mumbai.
