Sanjay D.

Sanjay D.'s work experience begins with their current role as a Senior Software Engineer, Firmware at Serve Robotics, which they started in March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Postmates Inc. as a Senior Firmware Engineer, where they were responsible for Linux software infrastructure and RTOS drivers for monitoring cameras and microcontrollers. Sanjay was also involved in developing diagnostic tests for devices connected to the Jetson Xavier.

Before their role at Postmates Inc., Sanjay worked at BYTON as a Senior Firmware Engineer, where they developed firmware and embedded software for Smart Gateway, Telematics, and Keyless Entry System. Sanjay also prototyped gesture recognition using a keyfob.

Prior to BYTON, Sanjay worked at SK hynix memory solutions inc., first as a Senior Firmware Engineer from October 2016 to August 2018, and then from February 2015 to June 2016. During their time at SK hynix, they developed firmware for SATA and NVMe SSDs and implemented features such as firmware updates and host-interface processor features.

Earlier in their career, Sanjay worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they collaborated with the Computational EM group to speed up EM simulations using HPC techniques. Sanjay also worked as a Summer Research Assistant at the National Solar Observatory, where they researched methods for HPC processing on a high-speed downlink datastream.

Sanjay's work experience also includes a role as a Technical Service Engineer at Huawei from October 2011 to June 2012.

Sanjay D. completed their education with a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Telecommunications from Visvesvaraya Technological University between 2007 and 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Sanjay D. also obtained certifications in C++ programming. Sanjay completed "C++ For C Programmers, Part A" from Coursera in August 2016 and "C++ For C Programmers, Part B" in February 2021. Both certifications were obtained from Coursera.
