Melissa Tompkins

Melissa Tompkins was named Vice President, Operations Support in 2022. In this role, she has responsibility for a variety of analytical, financial, and operations functions including program management, operations process improvement, and operations finance support. Ms. Tompkins joined SCI in 1996 as a receptionist at an SCI-owned Funeral Home. After a year, she transferred to the Corporate Office. She would go on to spend the next 14 years in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility from Customer Service, Accounting, Information Technology, and Program Management Office, and led or participated in a variety of process improvement projects. She was appointed Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) in 2011, and later promoted to Assistant Vice President, of FP&A in 2013.

Ms. Tompkins holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from LeTourneau University.
