Doug Hurlock

RVP, Florida at Service Electric Company

Before joining Service Electric Company Doug worked for Duke Energy for 30 years and held several leadership positions. Doug began his career in 1990 with Public Service Indiana. He began his Lineman Apprenticeship in 1991. Public Service Indiana merged into Duke Energy where Doug held many leadership positions that included Distribution and Transmission supervisory roles during his time in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Florida. Ultimately he became the Manager of Line and Substation construction for Duke Energy Florida. Doug then became the Director of Contractor Operations for the Duke Energy Midwest. Doug’s career has allowed him to lead both Transmission and Distribution crews all across the north and southeast regions as well as Puerto Rico.

Doug’s role with Service Electric Company will allow him to oversee all Service Electric resources for the Florida region. This includes project management, estimating, customer relations, and support for all other Service Electric employees and customer needs. He believes a cohesive team is constructed by communication and accountability and is required for the overall teams’ success.
