Megan Sweeney

Megan Sweeney is an accomplished Chief Financial Officer at SEIU since 2006, responsible for overseeing the union's financial health and resource management. Previously, Sweeney held various leadership roles at SEIU, including Deputy Director, National Campaign Director, Co-Director for the South/Southwest Region, and Regional Political Director, where efforts focused on advancing technology, economic justice, and political programs. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director of the SEIU Oregon State Council, coordinating legislative campaigns and representing the union on health care committees. Sweeney holds a degree in Urban Studies and Political Science from Macalester College and an MPA from Syracuse University's Maxwell School.
