Dan Smeaton

Dan Smeaton was named Vice President of Corporate Development in August 2022. As Vice President of Corporate Development, Dan is responsible for all aspects of transaction services which include acquisition due diligence, tax, risk and seller engagement within Service Logic and its companies. Dan also works on the development of new acquisitions.

Dan joined Service Logic in 2017 as a Manager of Corporate Development, working on potential acquisition targets before being named Director of Corporate Development. In this role, Dan was responsible for managing the acquisition process as well as developing and implementing a streamlined closing process for company acquisitions.

Prior to Service Logic, Dan served as an Advisory Manager for global accounting firm Deloitte based in Charlotte and New York, advising large strategic and Private Equity clients on both buy and sell side transactions.

Dan earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Elon University and is a CPA in the state of North Carolina.
