Premanand Sonny

Premanand Sonny has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Premanand began their career in 1997 at The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited as an Accounting Technician. From 2001 to 2002, they worked at Ernst & Young as a Staff Auditor. Premanand then joined PotashCorp as a Senior Accountant from 2002 to 2007. At World Fuel Services, Sonny held various roles including Senior Accountant, Manager of Structured Finance, and Senior Manager of Structured Finance and Business Development. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as the Senior Controller and Director of Finance and Accounting at amg™ (Audiology Management Group, Inc.). Currently, Sonny holds the position of Regional Chief Financial Officer at Service Logic since 2018. Throughout their career, they have played a significant role in M&A planning and strategy execution, performed market research and due diligence on prospective acquisitions, managed international trade finance planning, and prepared budgets and forecasts. Premanand also has experience in contract negotiations and liaising with executive management teams.

Premanand Sonny completed their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from ICAEW in the years 1998 to 2001. Afterward, they pursued a Post Graduate Accounting Certification from AICPA (Association of Certified Public Accountants) between 2006 and 2007. Later, from 2014 to 2015, they obtained a Master's Degree, specifically a Master of Science in Finance (MSF), from the College of Business at Florida International University.
