Mena Samuel

Mena Samuel is a Principal Software Engineer at Service NSW since January 2021, where Mena develops and enhances a web portal that integrates multiple government APIs, aiding over 500,000 businesses in New South Wales. Mena's work has been pivotal in delivering technical solutions for government initiatives, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing substantial financial assistance to struggling enterprises. Previously, Mena held senior software engineering roles at Honeywell, contributing to global cloud platform development and life-critical facility management software, alongside maintaining a suite of in-house tools. Mena's career also includes application development positions at TekInsure, Kenna, and the University of Waterloo, as well as a trainer role at Cosmos Security. Mena earned a B.Sc in Physics and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo between 2006 and 2011.
