Galen Mason

Galen Mason has worked in the legal and venture capital industries since 1998. Galen began their career as a Financial Analyst at Fourth Shift, Inc. in 1998. In 2002, they joined Jenner & Block LLP as an Associate. Galen then moved to Foley & Lardner LLP in 2010 as Special Counsel. In 2011, they Co-Founded and became a Board Member of Catapult Chicago, an independent business community supported by service providers and focused on the most ambitiously led digital technology companies. In 2015, they became the Managing Director of Service Provider Capital, a venture fund that meets an index fund and increases connectivity and depth throughout the Midwest. In 2019, they joined Michael Best & Friedrich LLP as a Partner and Co-Chair of Venture Best.

Galen Mason attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Law from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a JD. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Biology and Economics from St. Olaf College between 1994 and 1998.
