Ian Gilmour

Ian Gilmour has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Ian is currently working at Service Stream as the Head of IT Architecture, where they leverage their technical expertise to develop and optimize enterprise and solution architecture. Ian also provides insights for strategic planning and drives value delivery to the business.

Before joining Service Stream, Ian worked as a Systems Manager at the same company, overseeing the integration of IT applications following the acquisition of Lendlease Services. Ian also restructured IT resources to align with the newly formed requirements.

Ian's previous experience includes roles at Lendlease, where they served as a Systems Manager, overseeing activities related to applications architecture, development, and roadmaps. Ian also led a team of direct reports, provided performance evaluations, and tailored feedback for improvement. Additionally, Ian worked as a Lead Software Engineer, supervising the development of a platform supporting thousands of users and millions of data points. Ian assumed various cross-functional responsibilities and provided leadership to offshore software developers.

Ian's early experience includes roles at iPower Solutions, where they worked as a Lead Electrical Engineer, driving the completion of R&D projects and resolving escalated issues. Ian also served as a Project Manager and an Electrical Engineer during their time at iPower. Additionally, Ian worked as an Undergraduate Engineer at the Australian Energy Market Operator early in their career.

Ian Gilmour completed their education at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2005 to 2009. Ian obtained a Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) degree with a focus on Software Engineering as well as a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree specializing in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition to their academic qualifications, Ian Gilmour also received a certification as a LeanIX Certified Practitioner (Level 1) from LeanIX in December 2023.
