Chris Jacobs

Chris Jacobs is currently a technician at Service Tech AV. Chris previously worked as an AV Specialist for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security-FEMA from October 2010 to January 2017. Before that, they were the installation manager and then project manager at Duncan Video, Inc. from October 1999 to January 2008. Chris has experience working with television production systems, fiber optic distribution systems, production/post production systems, and audio/video conferencing systems. Chris has also installed various LAN/WAN's for video/audio/data routing switchers and media storage facilities. Some notable installations they have worked on include the digital video & TV production system for WTBU at Butler University, the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN, and the Charlotte Bobcats Arena in Charlotte, NC.

Chris Jacobs has a CTS Cert. from Infocomm Academy in the field of Certified Technology Specialist. Chris also has a Cert. from Infocomm Academy in the field of Project Management: Competencies & Structure. Additionally, they have a Cert. from the U.S. Navy CCTV Maintenance & Operator 'C' School in the field of CCTV Maintenance & Operation, as well as a Cert. from the U.S. Navy Basic Electricity & Electronics School in the field of Basic Electricity & Electronics. Finally, they have a Cert. from the U.S. Navy IC 'A' School in the field of Interior Communications Systems.
