Vincenzo Gallegos is an undergraduate researcher at NYU Microparticle Photo-Physics Lab, collaborating with Professor Stephen Arnold on investigations of whispering gallery modes (WGMs) and developing pedagogical approaches for academic dissemination. Additionally, Vincenzo serves as the Engineering Team Lead for Composites and Manufacturing at NYU Motorsports, focusing on epoxy resin techniques for competitive off-road vehicle design. As a HC-130J Special Missions Aviator with the Air National Guard, Vincenzo supports rescue operations in various environments. Recent research experience includes a SULI internship at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory and a REVU Fellowship at Yale University, where investigations centered on superfluid helium-4. Prior military experience includes multiple roles in the United States Air Force, highlighting technical expertise in loadmaster training and airdrop operations. Vincenzo's education journey includes ongoing studies at New York University and previous degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the Community College of the Air Force.
