Mike Schudel's work experience begins in 2010 as a Senior Developer at Cooperators Life Insurance Company, where they worked on the CUMIS Integration Project and later became a Technical Team Lead on the CUMIS Correspondence Project. In 2011, they worked as a Senior Developer on the Group Conversion Project at the same company. In 2012, they served as a Technical Team Lead on the Travel Insurance Extranet Project. Also in 2012, they co-founded ServiceBox Software and worked as the CTO, overseeing the development of a system for small to medium-sized service companies.
From 2013 to 2014, Mike served as an Architect and Developer at Sereniis, where they helped build a software-as-a-service system for organizations. In 2015, Mike worked as an Architect and Team Lead at the City of Regina, where they helped put the city's water bill information into the Cloud. In 2016, they were a Contractor on the Internal Impacts Project for the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada, integrating Sharepoint 2013 into applications.
From 2017 to 2018, Mike served as the Technical Lead at Export Development Canada, implementing their first cloud-based solution.
Mike Schudel completed their Bachelor of Administration degree in Economics, Finance, and Accounting from the University of Regina from 1989 to 1994. Mike then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Regina from 1994 to 1995. Additionally, they obtained an "Enhanced Reliability (Secret in Progress)" certification from the Government of Canada, although the specific month and year of obtaining it are not provided.
