Gabriel Avilés Aponte

He completed a bachelor's degree in Finance at the Faculty of Business Administration of the University of Puerto Rico. His law degree was obtained from the Law School of the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. During his years as a Law student, he was a member of the Law Review, becoming Associate Director of the Editorial Board for Volume 69. He was also a Chair Assistant. He participated in the Summer Exchange Program of the University of Barcelona, ​​in the Summer Workshop Program of the Legal Assistance Clinic and of the Legal Assistance Clinic of the University of Puerto Rico in the Serious Criminal Clinic, in which successfully defended more than a dozen defendants without the financial capacity to hire legal representation. </ P. He worked as a Legal Officer in the Court of Appeals. He passed the federal revalidation and is accepted to litigate in the Boston First Circuit Court. He currently maintains his own legal office. He has served as an examining officer or referee in various institutions such as: the Puerto Rico Volleyball Federation; Skating Federation of Puerto Rico; Civil Rights Commission; among other. He is a member of the Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association.
