Stefan Gross

Stefan Gross is a highly experienced leader in biochemistry and drug discovery, currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Biochemistry at Servier Pharmaceuticals since 2021, where responsibilities include leading globally matrixed project teams and managing various biochemistry groups. Concurrently, Stefan holds a position as Professor of the Practice of Drug Discovery at Tufts University, contributing to curricula design and mentorship while serving on the Executive Committee for a significant capital development campaign. Previously, Stefan held key roles during a 13-year tenure at Agios Pharmaceuticals, where contributions were pivotal in the development of multiple first-in-class clinical compounds. Early career experiences include significant positions at Ore Pharmaceuticals, Altus Pharmaceuticals, and Archemix Corporation, with foundational research conducted at the American Cancer Society.
