Anthony Coia

Anthony Coia currently serves as Head of R&D Strategy & Governance at Servier, with responsibilities including ensuring pipeline alignment with Group strategy and leading portfolio optimization efforts. Previously, Anthony held the position of Head of Portfolio & Strategic Operations for Cell Therapy at Bristol Myers Squibb, overseeing strategy and management of various cell therapies. At Novartis, Anthony acted as Global Program Executive Director, focusing on mid-to-late-stage global drug development and collaborations with other major pharmaceutical companies. Earlier roles included Worldwide Director of New Products in the Cardio-Renal-Metabolic area and a Principal at BioVentures Investors, where Anthony managed a $150 million venture fund. Anthony completed a two-year fellowship with Kauffman Fellows in venture capital and entrepreneurship and holds an MBA from Northwestern University and an M.D. from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
