Guillaume Masson is a Research Scientist in Process Chemistry at Servier since February 2023. Previously, Guillaume served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Basel from March 2022 to January 2023, under the supervision of Pr. Christof Sparr. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role in flow and photochemistry at CNRS - NovAlix, where Guillaume developed photoflow processes for introducing fluoroalkyl groups on heterocycles. Guillaume completed a Ph.D. at ESPCI from October 2016 to October 2019, focusing on the ring expansion of pyrrolidines and piperidines, supervised by Pr. Janine Cossy. Academic contributions also include positions as a Graduate Research Assistant at Université Paris Descartes and the University of California, Irvine, working on total synthesis and chemical synthesis projects. Educational qualifications consist of a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry and Biology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Pierre and Marie Curie University, as well as a DUT in Chemistry from IUT de Créteil-Vitry-UPEC.
