Maria Gomez Barea

Maria Gomez Barea has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Maria began their career as an intern at UNESCO in the Philosophy, Democracy, and Human Rights Department in 2009. After that, they worked as a Legal Intern at Banco Santander's London Branch in 2010. Maria then joined Deloitte Consulting as a Strategy and Operations Summer Analyst in 2011.

In 2012, they became a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting LLP, where they worked until 2015. Maria also had a brief role as a Consultant S&O at Deloitte Consulting in 2012. Maria then joined McKinsey & Company as an Associate in 2017 and later became a Junior Engagement Manager in 2018.

Maria'sprofessional growth continued with a role as a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company in 2016. Most recently, Maria has been working at Servihabitat Servicios Inmobiliarios, starting as the Chief of Staff/Head of CEO Office in 2019. Maria then became the Chief Operations Officer (COO) from 2021 to 2023, and currently holds the position of Chief Corporate Officer (COO/CCO).

Maria Gomez Barea completed their education at various institutions over the years. Maria began their education at Lycée Français de Madrid, where they obtained a Baccalauréat Sciences Économiques et Sociales in 2006. Later, they enrolled at Universidad Pontificia Comillas and pursued a degree in Licenciatura en Derecho y Administración y Dirección de Empresas, which they completed in 2012. In 2010-2011, Maria participated in an ERASMUS program at Sciences Po. Maria then decided to further their education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the London Business School, which they successfully obtained from 2015 to 2017.
