Alican Polat

Alican Polat has had diverse work experience in various industries. Alican began their career as an intern at TEKSİM GÜMRÜK MÜŞAVİRLİĞİ LTD. ŞTİ. in 2014. Alican then worked as a Support Specialist at Unal Group Customs Consultancy in 2015. Later that year, they joined Oxford Business Group as an Operation Specialist, where they managed off-seas cargo operations and analyzed logistics and company branch requirements.

In 2015, Alican also started working at Altay Consulting and Int. Trans. Foreign Trade Inc. as an Air Freight Supervisor. Alican communicated directly with clients, managed their requests, and operated as an Air Freight Expert. Alican then moved on to becoming an Air Operations Manager, where they sourced new suppliers, developed partnerships, and personally interacted with clients on business matters.

In 2019, Alican joined Procend as an Account Manager. In this role, they sourced new suppliers, participated in new business introductions, and attended concepting and pitch meetings. Alican was later promoted to Chief Operating Officer, where they oversaw administrative and operational functions, coordinated meetings and collaborations with Esports teams and Influencers, and managed strategies to reduce risk.

Currently, Alican is working at ServisSoft as a Business Development Consultant, starting in 2021.

Alican Polat has a Master's degree in International Marketing from Istanbul Arel University. Alican pursued this degree from 2016 to 2018. Prior to their Master's degree, from 2010 to 2014, Alican Polat attended Istanbul Arel University where they studied International Logistics and Transportation. In addition to their academic qualifications, Alican Polat obtained a certification in UDY 3 from the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Transport Maritime Affairs and Communications in December 2013.
