Thomas Hatch has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Thomas currently holds the position of VP Technology Strategic Growth Initiatives at Servus Credit Union since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked for the Government of Alberta, starting as the Director of Data Analytics, Process Automation, and Artificial Intelligence in May 2020 until September 2022. Thomas also had roles in Service Alberta, Government of Alberta, where they served as the Director of Information Management from February 2018 to July 2020 and held the position of Acting Chief Analytics Officer from February 2019 to May 2020 and again from June 2018 to October 2018.

At the start of their career, Hatch held various positions at EDS Canada Inc., including Software Developer, Analyst, Production Control, and Database Analyst from December 1998 to January 2008. Thomas also briefly worked as a Software Developer at MMG Software Ltd. in September 1998.

In addition, Hatch completed a Management Development Program (MDP) Certificate in Management at the University of Alberta from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a BCOMM degree in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University between 2005 and 2007. Thomas Hatch began their education by obtaining a Computer Programming/Analysis Diploma from the Career Development Institute of Business and Technology in 1997 and 1998.
