Mohsin Khan

Mohsin Khan, CPA, CIA, ACA, CFE, has extensive work experience in various roles within the field of auditing and finance. Mohsin currently holds the position of Head of Internal Audit & SOX at SES AI Corp. Prior to this, Mohsin worked at PwC as an Experienced (Senior) Manager in Advisory services from 2020 to 2022.

Before PwC, they served as the Manager of Internal Audit at Sprague Operating Resources LLC, an energy company listed on NYSE, from 2018 to 2019. Mohsin also worked as an Audit Manager at OSTER & WHEELER, P.C. from 2017 to 2018.

Earlier in their career, Mohsin held the role of Chief Internal Auditor at The First MicroFinanceBank - Afghanistan (FMFB-A) from 2014 to 2016, where they introduced modern technological risk-based audit techniques and audited overall governance and risk management.

From 2012 to 2014, Mohsin worked as the Manager of Internal Audit for The Microfinance Investment Support Facility for Afghanistan, overseeing the establishment of an effective and independent internal audit function.

Mohsin'scareer began at PwC in 2007, where they served as a Senior Associate in Assurance and Business Advisory services from 2007 to 2011. Throughout their career, Mohsin has demonstrated a strong knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and audit procedures.

Mohsin Khan holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Western Governors University, which they obtained from 2018 to 2019. Mohsin has also obtained a Master's degree in Audit, Tax, Financial reporting, Corporate Laws, Business Management, Cost Accounting, and IT from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan from 2007 to 2014. In addition, they completed the APA program in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management, and Corporate Laws from the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants in 2012. Mohsin Khan has acquired several certifications, including Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the California Board of Accountancy in 2019 and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in 2017. Mohsin is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) granted by The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2011. Furthermore, they have earned certifications in Digital Acumen and Human-Centered Design from PwC in December 2020. Mohsin Khan also received a Certificate in International Auditing from ACCA in 2012.
