Mark Phillips

Mark Phillips joined SES Government Solutions (SES GS) in 2019 as the Vice President of Operations and Service Delivery. In his previous role he managed SES’s Commercial Global Managed Services NOC and SATCOM Engineering team. Currently he leads a team of professionals providing SES GS’s Service Delivery Solutions to the U.S. Government including Network Operations, SATCOM Engineering and Managed Services Implementation.

Mr. Phillips has over 20 years of experience in the satellite communications industry. Prior to joining SES GS, he held various positions with SES Networks, O3b Networks, Scitor, and Lockheed Martin with extensive experience in Network Operations, Satellite Operations, Satellite Engineering, IC Programs, and Program Management. During this time, he held a number of leadership positions including VP, Satellite Engineering and Operations for O3b Networks until the startup company was merged with SES.

Mr. Phillips holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science degree from George Washington University.
