Charles Summers

Charles Summers has extensive work experience in the field of HR and analytics. Charles started their career in 2010 at Leonardo DRS, where they held various roles such as HR Generalist, Recruiter, and Program Analyst. During their time at Leonardo DRS, Charles developed metrics, provided data and analytics for HR and TA, supported audits for HR systems and data, and liaised with the Corporate HRIS team. Charles also supported HR OpEx, redesigned HR SharePoint, and administered HR SharePoint sites. Additionally, Charles was responsible for full life-cycle recruiting, sourcing candidates from various channels for the Department of Defense and other government customers. In 2022, Charles continued their role as an HR Generalist - HRIS and Analytics at SES Space & Defense after SES-GS acquired Global Enterprise Solutions from Leonardo DRS, performing similar tasks.

Charles Summers completed their education with a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Melbourne, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 1998 and 2002. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Diversity Recruiting from LinkedIn in July 2021.
