Sr Test Engineer at SES Space & Defense

Darla Fong has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Darla began their career at McLaughlin Research Corporation as a Systems Analyst in 1980, where they worked until 1985. Following this, they joined McMahon Engineering as a Systems Analyst, providing database support for the ASROC program until October 1985. Darla then joined Pacific Technologies Inc as a Systems Analyst, where they worked until June 1996. In this role, they served as a Software Librarian for the Common Scenario Control Environment Program, maintaining version control of software elements and preparing executable boot loadable software for delivery and distribution. In 1985, they also started working at SES Space & Defense as a Sr Test Engineer, and they are currently in this position. Additionally, in October 1985, they joined Leonardo DRS as an SR Test Engineer. In this role, they performed system integration testing, developed test documentation and reports, conducted software element tests, and conducted post-test analysis. Darla held this position until August 2022.

Darla Fong has a strong educational background in the field of Information Technology. In 2008, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree from the University of Phoenix. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2001, they pursued C Programming at UC San Diego Extended Studies, although no degree was obtained during this period.

Going further back in their education history, from 1974 to 1975, they attended the American Business College, where they obtained a Certificate in Computer Programming.

In addition to their formal education, Darla Fong has also obtained certifications in various areas. Darla received a certification in Software Testing: Tools from LinkedIn in February 2022.
