Eric Harvester , MSCE

Eric Harvester has a strong background in information technology and communications engineering. Eric currently works at SES Space & Defense as a Principal Information Technology Engineer, a role they have held since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Leonardo DRS as a Principal Communications Engineer from February 2013 to August 2022. Eric also has experience as a Network Administrator at General Dynamics Information Technology from October 2012 to February 2013. Eric Harvester has a diverse education history in the field of computer science and network security. Eric started their education at the University of Maryland University from 1990 to 1997, where they pursued computer science but did not obtain a degree. Eric then attended State Fair Community College from 1992 to 1993 and the University of Florida from 1990 to 1991, earning units in computer science but no degree.

In 2012, Eric enrolled in DeVry University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems with a specialization in Network/Web Security. Eric completed this program in 2014.

Eric's most recent educational achievement is a Master's of Computer Engineering in Network Security, which they obtained from Florida International University Online from 2016 to 2017.

Apart from their formal education, Eric Harvester has also acquired several certifications in the field of computer science and network security. Eric obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in June 2019. In July 2022, they received the Riverbed Certified Performance Engineer Network Performance Management certification from Riverbed Technology.
