Matt Kipe

Matt Kipe has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Matt began their career at Navitor Inc in 1995 as a Senior Programmer/Development Manager, where they developed and maintained a custom business stationery web-based ordering system. Matt later became the Development Manager for Regency (Navitor).

In 2004, Matt joined SES Satellites as a Senior Developer, where they took on the development of a self-pointing mobile satellite terminal and created a monitor and control solution for satellite equipment used in custom small-scale deployments at earth stations.

Afterward, in 2006, Matt joined viaav as the Director of Engineering, where they worked on developing solutions in the high-end home entertainment market using AMX products. Matt also collaborated with the company's founder to design and develop a SaaS digital signage solution.

In 2009, Matt moved to Navitor Inc once again, this time as a Senior Developer. Matt stayed with the company until 2011, working on various development projects.

From 2011 to 2018, Matt was employed at d'Vinci Interactive as a Lead Developer, contributing to the company's development initiatives.

Most recently, since 2018, Matt has been working at SES Space & Defense as a Software Solutions Director. In this role, they collaborate with the development team to implement and refine SLDC processes based on industry best practices. Matt'sfocus is on creating innovative solutions using enterprise platforms and technologies, with a commitment to delivering value both internally and externally.

Matt Kipe obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Computer Science from Crafton Hills College, where they studied from 1993 to 1994. In addition to their formal education, they also hold a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in May 2022.
