Raoul Heinrichs

Raoul Heinrichs is the General Manager for Defence and National Security at SES Satellites, a position held since October 2022, where strategic leadership is provided in developing government satcom solutions across the Asia Pacific. Prior to this role, Raoul served as the Business Development Lead for Space at Lockheed Martin Australia Pty Ltd from 2018 to September 2022. Raoul's experience includes roles as Senior Adviser in Strategy and Government Affairs at the Australian Parliament (2016-2018), Tutor and Lecturer at The Australian National University's Strategic and Defence Studies Centre (2011-2017), and Editor of the Strategic Snapshots publication series at the Lowy Institute (2009-2013). Additionally, Raoul was a Visiting Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in 2008 and held an advisory position focused on Defence and National Security at the Australian Parliament from February 2007 to 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Military Strategic Studies from The Australian National University and a BA (Hons) from Monash University.
