Laura Fortuna

Laura Fortuna currently serves as the VP of Philanthropic Development Operations at Sesame Workshop since September 2022. Prior experience includes Director of Revenue Operations at charity: water, where Laura led significant changes resulting in a 60% revenue increase, and developed a customized Salesforce instance for major donor management. Previously, Laura held roles as Senior Business Analyst at New York University School of Medicine and Barnard College, where contributions included streamlining fundraising processes and implementing a $400 million capital campaign. With a strong foundation in data analysis and operations, Laura has a diverse background across multiple nonprofit organizations, including the International Rescue Committee. Laura holds an MBA in Social Impact, Management, and Marketing from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in International Affairs and Romance Languages from The University of Georgia.
