Lindsey Thorne is an experienced professional with a diverse background in customer service and account management. Currently serving as an Employee Benefits Account Service Representative at SET SEG since June 2019, Lindsey collaborates with Michigan Public School districts to tailor employee benefits. In addition, Lindsey has been a Leasing Specialist at Devonshire on Canal since August 2014, where responsibilities include leasing apartments and managing resident relations. Previous experience includes working as a Family Support Worker, where Lindsey taught children communication and social skills, as well as positions at American Metal Roofs, Firekeeper's Casino Hotel, and Dornbos Sign & Safety Inc. Lindsey holds a Bachelor's degree in Writing from The University of Olivet and has attended Lansing Community College.

SET SEG is a non-profit company that was created in 1971 to offer schools comprehensive and affordable employee benefit solutions for Michigan public schools and their employees. Since its creation, the needs of Michigan's public education community continued to change and SET SEG grew into an organization offering a spectrum of insurance services including not only employee benefits, but property/casualty and workers' compensation as well. Today, SET SEG continues to expand and find innovative ways to meet the specialized needs of its members. This, coupled with a superior member experience, is why SET SEG has maintained its position as an industry leader in the school insurance market.
