Royi Kaufmann

Royi Kaufmann is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of chemical physics and biotechnology. Currently serving as the CTO and Co-Founder of SetBone Medical since February 2018, Royi is focused on developing innovative polymeric bone cement aimed at enhancing the treatment of Vertebral Compression Fractures caused by osteoporosis. Prior to this, Royi completed a post-doctoral position at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where a microfluidic device was designed for analyzing enzymatic reactions at a microsecond scale. Additionally, Royi has experience as a Chemistry Lecturer at the Eve Center, teaching General Chemistry and cosmetics. Academic credentials include a Ph.D in Chemical Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science and advanced degrees in Biotechnology and Biology from Tel Aviv University.
