Thaer Qasem

Thaer Qasem is a seasoned energy professional with a robust background in energy management and engineering. Currently serving as a Project Manager and Senior Energy Engineer at SETS International since July 2018, Thaer specializes in conducting comprehensive energy audits across various facility types and collaborates with suppliers and contractors to implement effective energy efficiency measures. Previously, as the Energy Unit Head at The Royal Hashemite Court from September 2016 to January 2018, Thaer established energy management systems and initiated several energy-saving projects aimed at optimizing resource use. Thaer's earlier experience as an Energy Specialist at the Royal Scientific Society involved conducting energy audits and renewable energy studies for diverse systems. Thaer holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering from AL Balqa' Applied University and is pursuing a Master's degree in Executive Master in Future Energy from ESCP Business School, expected to complete in July 2025.
