Dave Tarantino

Dave Tarantino is a seasoned music educator and administrator with extensive experience in various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as faculty at Settlement Music School and personnel manager for Allentown Symphony Association, Tarantino also holds the position of Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra Personnel Manager with Boston Symphony Orchestra. A teaching artist with Play On Philly since 2019, Tarantino previously taught K-8 General Music in The School District of Philadelphia. Additional roles include faculty at Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras and section percussionist with Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Educationally, Dave Tarantino earned a Doctorate of Musical Arts and a Master of Music from Boston University, following a Bachelor of Music from New England Conservatory of Music.
