Settlement Music School
TJ McGlinchey, MFA, MAE, is a dedicated music educator and composer with extensive experience in teaching and music composition. Currently serving as a music teacher at multiple institutions including Rock to the Future, Philadelphia Piano Institute, School of Rock, and Settlement Music School since January 2022, McGlinchey also holds a position as a K-12 general music teacher with the School District of Philadelphia since August 2020. Prior experience includes teaching at Odyssey Charter School from 2016 to 2020. In addition to teaching, McGlinchey is a staff writer for That Music Magazine and a composer/singer-songwriter, with an upcoming album titled “Still In Love” set for digital release on April 5th. McGlinchey holds a Master of Fine Arts in Music Composition, Songwriting from Vermont College of Fine Arts and a Master of Arts in Education from Goddard College.
