Gaurav Karki

Gaurav Karki is an experienced social worker and team leader with a focus on providing comprehensive support to vulnerable populations, including refugees and asylum seekers. Currently, in the role of Team Leader Tier 2 and Tier 3 Case Manager at SSI, Gaurav develops holistic and client-centered case management plans within the Humanitarian Support Program. Previously, Gaurav worked at Neami National as a Community Rehabilitation Support Worker, collaborating with clinical teams to enhance consumer wellbeing through a strengths-based approach. Gaurav's background includes research assistance focused on settlement services at Western Sydney University and founding the Youth Foundation Nepal to address educational and health needs in remote areas. Gaurav holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Australian College of Applied Professions and a Bachelor's degree from Kadambari Memorial College of Social Work.
