Mariam Dzagoevi

Mariam Dzagoevi currently serves as the Communication Manager at Democracy Index in Georgia since February 2024. Simultaneously, Mariam has been an invited lecturer at Georgian National University SEU and International Black Sea University (IBSU) since October 2018 and March 2015, respectively. Previous roles include Study Process Manager, Head of Media Centre, and Specialist of Media Center at IBSU. Additionally, Mariam worked as a Graphic Editor at Diogene Publishers from September 2021 to August 2023 and served as a Contributing Journalist for the Institute for War & Peace Reporting (IWPR) from October 2015 to November 2017. Academically, Mariam holds a Master’s degree in Public Relations from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (2014-2017) and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Tbilisi State University (2010-2014).
