Steve Compton

Steve Compton has over 20 years of experience working in various roles related to renewable energy, low carbon fuels, and biofuels. Steve currently serves as the President of Sevana Bioenergy LLC since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked for Sevana Bioenergy as the CFO and EVP from September 2018 to January 2022. Steve also worked at Chevron Products Company from 2015 to 2018 as a Renewable Energy Deal Lead and Low Carbon Fuels Strategy Manager. At Chevron Technology Ventures from 2011 to 2015, they served as Biofuels & Carbon Business Development, and at ExxonMobil from 2004 to 2011, they worked as a Section Head, Financial Analyst, and Technology Consultant. Steve started their career as a Research Associate at TIAX in 2001. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in conducting due diligence, deal structuring, originating venture capital investments, strategy development, and developing strategic partnerships.

Steve Compton holds an MBA in Finance from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering as well as an MS in Engineering from Stanford University. The start and end years for their education experiences were not provided.
