Karina Valencia

Karina Valencia's work experience includes positions at various companies. Karina worked as a Marketing Assistant at SpeechCycle Inc. from 2010 to 2011, where they collaborated with the Vice President of Marketing on content development and networking with telecom operators. From 2011 to 2016, Karina worked at AmeriCares in roles such as Associate, Senior Associate, and Manager in Corporate Relations, focusing on planning events, managing partnerships, and securing donations. Karina then took a sabbatical to travel and teach English as a Second Language in Spain. After their sabbatical, Karina joined Octagon in 2018, where they served as an Account Manager and later as an Account Director. During this time, they oversaw the strategy, planning, and execution of global events for Mastercard's Priceless Experience Program. In 2022, Karina joined Dataiku as the Global Events Manager, leading the strategy and execution of events on a global scale for the customer division. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Event Director at Seven Hills Global, and they will assume the role of Jr. Vice President in 2023.

Karina Valencia obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Economics from Fordham Gabelli School of Business, which they attended from 2006 to 2010. Karina also participated in a Study Abroad Semester at the University of Sydney in 2009. In 2018, they obtained a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute.
