Kobina Yankah

Kobina Yankah has over 20 years of experience in producing high-end content for various clients, corporations, and political entities. Kobina has worked as a Creative Director at Seven Letter, where they aim to expand the capacity of the unit and grow the creative business. Kobina also served as an Adjunct Professor in Screenwriting and Animation at Morgan State University for seven years, teaching traditional animation, motion graphics, and 3D animation. Kobina Yankah has worked as a Creative Director at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, overseeing content production and developing management systems. Kobina has also worked as a Motion Graphics Animator at 2U, an educational technology firm, where they executed various marketing assets and presented creative rationales. Additionally, they worked as a Video Editor/Animator at American Bridge 21st Century, coordinating production pipelines and managing freelance animators and editors. Kobina Yankah's experience also includes working as a Visual Effects Specialist at Turner Studios, where they delivered elite visual effects for sports and entertainment broadcasting, earning top industry awards. Kobina served as a Senior Editor/Animation Director at Nerjyzed Entertainment, leading the video department and directing animation for in-game sequences and logos. Lastly, they began their career as an Animation Director at Imajimation Studios, where they worked on projects for top industry clients and managed production efforts.

Kobina Yankah pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 1994 to 1999, they attended Howard University where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design. Following this, from 2000 to 2003, they enrolled at UCLA and completed a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Animation.
